History of Serneholt Estate

Serneholt Estate was founded in 2016 by Fredrik and Linda Serneholt and has grown to be one of the most well-known Agencies on the Costa del Sol. We had another record-breaking year in 2023 selling properties for more than 100 million Euros. We have a total of 8 offices across mainland Spain and Canary Islands. Our ambition for 2024 is to have another record breaking year and we are therefore looking to expand our team of Agents based in San Pedro de Alcantara.

Job Description - Office located in San Pedro de Alcántara

We are looking for an individual to join our team and be a link between buyers and sellers. The responsibility of a Real Estate Agent includes marketing properties for sales and provide guidance for our buyers and sellers. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who’s looking to grow their career in Real Estate. No experience needed but international languages required such as fluent in English and ideally another language such as Spanish, Dutch, German, French etc.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance to assist buyers to purchase a property at the best price and under the best terms as well as supporting sellers in marketing their properties and ensure they achieve the best selling price possible
  • Understand the client’s needs and financial situation to propose the best solution
  • Manage the client expectations and explain the buying and selling processes in Spain, manage the price negotiation process, mortgages, legal requirements and related matters
  • Do market analysis to estimate properties value
    Market properties to possible buyers
  • Maintain and update the listings of available properties for sale
  • Build relationships with Developers
  • Network in various networks and groups
  • Promote sales through advertisements and listing processes
  • Remain knowledgeable about real estate markets and best practices
  • Keep up to date with the current market conditions

Finding Clients:

  • The Real Estate Agent will be spending much of their time putting a strategy together how to attract clients. Actions include: cold calling, following up on leads, advertising and making business presentations to investors or group of individuals.

Job Requirements

  • No Real Estate experience needed, but with a desire and drive to succeed plus willing to learn
  • Owning car is a must with a complete driving license
  • Communication Skills: Real Estate Agents need strong communication skills when they engage and interact with Clients, Agents, and our Collaboration Partners
  • Negotiation Skills: Real Estate Agents need to master price negotiations to secure properties for their Clients at the best price
  • Analytical Skills: Real Estate Agents are skilled in performing property market research to be able to identify good investment properties that generate the most profit.
  • Languages: English. Spanish is also a plus and any other European languages such as German, French, Dutch etc.
    Punctual, trustworthy and reliable
  • Familiar with MS Office
  • Ability to work independently but also a team player
